Oh how the tables have turned.
Like that one time I said I would never dye my hair red and I ended staying with the color a year and a half?
Well, this play is sort of that. Except here, well, I guess you'll have to find out

I am *VERY* excited to perform as Venus in Venus in Fur. As our director, Chris Ikner, says, [this is a beast of a show].
Brownsville Repertory Theatre and Las Ramblas Lounge join one another for the performances of Benny Hinojosa and myself in the Historic Downtown Brownsville, TX. The arts are growing, and so is our city.
Technically, I too am growing as I continue to invest my time into this website, the blogs, and social media in general.

Brownsville Repertory Theatre could not be more excited to be making a return to Historic Downtown Brownsville with our latest theatrical event, VENUS IN FUR - a play by David Ives.
STORY: When Vanda arrives several hours late to her audition for a play based on a nineteenth-century erotic novel, the director, Thomas, is less than impressed. But Vanda’s masterful performance flips the script on Thomas’ expectations and turns the session into a tango for dominance between actress and director, woman and man.
Hailed as “seriously smart and very funny” by The New York Times, Venus in Fur is a laugh-out-loud study of the politics of sex and power that’s guaranteed to charm and mesmerize.

All performances will begin at 8pm.
